Porting a number is easy. Most numbers are "port-able". 

Porting process

To port you need to have a WestFax account setup first and an account number. When you setup a WestFax account we'll give you a temporary fax number you can use to test. Once you port your fax number you will have a port date. 

How much is the porting fee?

Porting a number usually requires a porting fee of $20. Talk to your account manager if you have any questions.

How long does a port take?

The fastest port could take place in a day or two. It's not like a cell-phone port which can take just a few minutes. With fax there are a few more steps. Usually a port goes through in a few days or up to a few weeks. 

How to submit a port

If you are porting a Toll-Free number you may be required to fill out an LOA (Letter of Authorization) form available below. Attach it to your toll-free porting form submission.
